Enova Mining (ASX: ENV) has announced outstanding drilling results from its CODA Central project in Brazil, confirming extensive high-grade titanium mineralisation. The company’s first drilling campaign at CODA Central has delivered multiple intercepts exceeding 15% titanium dioxide (TiO₂), reinforcing the project's strategic importance. The discovery also enhances the project's rare earth element (REE) potential, aligning with the increasing demand for critical minerals in high-tech and green applications.
High-Grade Titanium Intercepts at CODA Central
Recent assays from both reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling indicate strong continuity of titanium mineralisation at CODA Central, elevating its resource potential. Significant drill results include:
CDC-RC-0001: 38m @ 11.13% TiO₂ from 7m, including 17m @ 13.5% TiO₂ from 8m and 4m @ 17.5% TiO₂ from 14m.
CDC-RC-0002: 26m @ 12.6% TiO₂ from 24m, including 19m @ 14.02% TiO₂ from 27m and 7m @ 15.9% TiO₂ from 32m.
CDC-RC-0003: 29m @ 9.43% TiO₂ from 20m, including 10m @ 12.92% TiO₂ from 21m and 3m @ 15.2% TiO₂ from 25m.
CDC-RC-0005: 32m @ 10.93% TiO₂ from 18m, including 19m @ 12.77% TiO₂ from 18m.

All drill holes at CODA Central ended in mineralisation, suggesting potential for deeper extensions. The mineralised zones span nearly 4 square kilometres, representing 25% of the project's estimated 20 square kilometres.
CODA North has also produced impressive intercepts, including:
CDN-DD-0023: 49m @ 10.11% TiO₂ from 7.10m, including 18.9m @ 12.55% TiO₂ from 7.10m.
CDN-DD-0024: 52.3m @ 10.00% TiO₂ from surface, including 31.6m @ 12.82% TiO₂ from 17.45m and 6.1m @ 16.9% TiO₂ from 22m.
Importantly, the broad near-surface mineralisation at CODA North suggests the potential for less costly open-pit mining operations.
CEO Sees Enova Well-Positioned for Growth
Enova Mining CEO Eric Vesel highlighted the significance of these findings, stating: “The latest drill results from CODA Central build on our titanium mineralisation discoveries at CODA. All six drill holes intersected significant titanium and REE mineralisation and ended in mineralisation, the scale and continuity of this system continues to expand. These results, alongside our ongoing exploration success at CODA North, highlight Enova’s growing portfolio of critical mineral assets."
Next Steps: Expanding Exploration and Resource Delineation
Following these strong results, Enova is preparing for the next phase of exploration and plans to:
Conduct additional drilling to evaluate deeper mineralisation potential.
Expand drilling into previously unexplored areas to establish geological continuity.
Advance metallurgical studies to assess processing options for titanium and rare earth extraction.
Titanium’s exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature stability make it essential in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, and industrial applications. Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is widely used in paints, coatings, plastics, and cosmetics. The TiO₂ market, valued at USD 20.24 billion in 2023, is projected to reach USD 34.78 billion by 2032, growing at a 6.2% CAGR.
